Botox Cosmetic®

A natural purified protein, Botox Cosmetic® has proven to be a safe and effective treatment to reduce lines and wrinkles around the eyes and upper face. Botox Cosmetic® is injected into the affected facial feature, temporarily relaxing the small facial muscle that causes the wrinkle. Within one week, lines and wrinkles are significantly reduced. Treatments may be repeated every three to six months for lasting results. Treatment: 10 minutes

Restylane®

An innovative treatment for the reduction ofwrinkles primarily in the lower face. Restylane® is a natural dermal filling agent that is injected into the wrinkle line. As a complement to Botox Cosmetic®, NLite® and microdermabrasion, Restylane® targets mainly nasolabial folds, marionette lines and fine lines around the mouth. It may also be used for frown lines that have not responded satisfactorily to Botox Cosmetic®. Most bilateral treatments require 1.0 ml of solution, but in some instances a higher dosage may be required. No allergy pre-testing is necessary.

NLite®

NLite® Laser Collagen Replenishment is a safe, non-ablative treatment that reduces wrinkles in the face. FDA-approved, this revolutionary approach to wrinkle reduction is fast, painless and performed in-office. The NLite® system sends laser energy to damaged areas in the collagen layer of the skin, stimulating new collagen production. This new collagen then grows at a natural speed, gradually replenishing the damaged collagen and filling in wrinkles from beneath the skin’s surface. It also softens and improves the appearance of skin affected by acne scarring. For best results, Microdermabrasion is recommended prior to each of a series of three treatments.

Dr. Joseph Parisi completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of Ottawa Eye Institute in Canada and performs orbital and eyelid plastic surgery for both functional and cosmetic purposes. He has used Botox® for more than ten years to treat eyelid and facial spasms. He also uses Botox Cosmetic®, Restylane® and the NLite® laser to reduce or eliminate wrinkles as part of a total facial rejuvenation process. All aesthetic treatments requiring injection or surgery are performed by Dr. Parisi.
