Clemson Ophthalmology is a well established group of eye physicians and surgeons in its 35th year of operation. Our doctors pride themselves in offering patients the most innovative diagnostic services and new treatments available.
Our patient population is comprised of residents from Upstate counties and draws from over 500,000 local residents, students and retirees. Our ophthalmologists perform over 1500 advanced cataract surgeries with new technology lenses per year plus orbital, lacrimal, and minor oculo-plastic procedures. Our newest offering is the SLT laser; an innovative treatment for glaucoma that can treat glaucoma and potentially free patients from the bother of eye drops. We offer free consultations for Lasik surgery which is performed at the Woolfson Eye Institute in Greenville. Major Eye Surgery is performed at Oconee Medical Center (www.OMH.com) in Seneca, and in Greenville at the Village at Pelham Surgery Center in Greer. Both facilities have lovely new ambulatory surgery wings with state of the art Alcon Surgical equipment. Clemson Ophthalmology also offers emergency call coverage for all our patients along with emergent patients from Oconee Medical Center.
